Visitors
Frankston Peninsula Target Rifle Club ia a progressive, friendly, family oriented club that welcomes visitors to come along and try the sport of target rifle shooting.
The second Wednesday of each month is dedicated to catering to visitors - note that intending visitors will need to make an appointment prior to attending the range. To make an appointment, phone Rod Owen on 0432 681 343 and he will specify a time to attend.
All visitors will receive a safety briefing prior to handling any firearms, and will be directly supervised whilst enjoying the target shooting experience. Visitors do not need to hold a firearms licence as they will be shooting under the supervision of experienced shooters.
Visitors may attend the range up to 4 times before deciding whether target shooting is for them, if so they will be expected to join the club as a member. Club membership requires that the member obtain a Victorian Category 'A' Firearms Licence, and pay the relevent annual membership fees.
Note that club rifles and equipment are available for the use of visitors and members.
Visitor Fees - $20 per person, per visit - includes use of a target rifle, 25 rounds of ammunition, supply of target(s) and supervision costs.
